Dead Letter Office:

The Lost Letters of Queensgate

A Gothic–Supernatural Mystery Told by Post

Welcome to the Dead Letter Office where each Season unfolds across twelve Dispatches, each delivered by post. Every month, a new record emerges from Queensgate’s shadowed history: letters and documents tied to a single, escalating case.

Each Monthly Dispatch Includes

  • One or two letters on archival stock, sealed and stamped
  • An assortment of ephemera: receipts, newspaper clippings, sketches, and/or telegrams
  • A sealed envelope bearing the mark of the Dead Letter Office, signed and individually numbered

About Editions

Each Season is issued in numbered editions of only 100.

Every Dispatch begins and ends in my studio. Each piece is written, designed, and printed by hand, then carefully weathered and assembled to give it a life of its own. I print every postage stamp and engrave each seal and rubber stamp in-house. Every letter is folded and sealed individually, ensuring that no two are ever exactly alike.

Because every Dispatch passes through my hands, I intentionally limit production to honor the integrity of the craft.

When an edition reaches capacity, it closes. A new edition begins only when the next run has received the time and care it requires.

Dispatch I

The Perplexing Case of the Dunhams

A shadow grows within the Dunham Estate. Lamps burn past midnight. Servants, hollow-eyed and unkempt, move through the corridors in visible distress. Illness lingers in the chambers. Whispers of murder echo in the halls. The master of the house keeps irregular hours. The mistress grows pale. Within the walls of this glorious estate, something macabre has taken hold, and the very house itself seems to bend beneath the influence of a greater evil.
